It was another busy night for me- Mootzulea the vampire. I was out searching for some stress to feed on and I had been successful so far- I could feel my energy rejuvenating with every stress pocket I encountered.

Tonight I was trying something a little different, something I had learned from my scientist friends. I was using my fear of open spaces to turn myself invisible and stealthily lurk in the shadows to catch unsuspecting stress sources.

So far I was doing pretty well, I found a few sources of stress but I still needed more. Feeling adventurous, I decided to take a stroll into the old abandoned castle nearby. It was eerily quiet, not a single soul around and I was getting the creeps.

Suddenly I heard footsteps and I scurried back into the shadows. I watched as a group of scientists walking towards the castle entrance. They were discussing something in hushed voices and I felt a strange energy emanating from them.

I quickly realized that they were coming to conduct experiments in the castle. I followed them in and discretely watched them as they went around studying different parts of the castle. I noticed one of them in particular, she was talking with excitement about something she had found. Intrigued, I glided over to her quietly and decided to eavesdrop.

That's when I heard it- “Psst, hey over here!” I jumped with surprise and quickly realized that the voice was coming from a small rat standing in the corner. “Did you know that this castle is known for its unexplained phenomena?” he said.

I gave him a quizzical look and he said “If you need stress, this is the place. Just stand here, relax and draw in the energy of the castle. You'll feel the stress in no time.”

After a while I opened my eyes and felt my energy rejuvenated. With a satisfied smile, I thanked the rat. The scientists were done with their work, unaware of my presence. I flew out of the castle and back into the shadows, feeling refreshed for another night of stress hunting.
