Today I was feeling the urge to experiment, so I decided I would try and discover something new. I flew over to my good friend's Scientist Joe's house to pick up some supplies, as well as catch up with all the gossip that I had been missing.
He was surprised to see me, but he always has the best materials. We talked about the latest discoveries in astronomy and the progress of the mission to Mars. Soon enough I had collected what I needed and I was ready to start my experiment.
My plan was to go out and try to collect stress from some unsuspecting victims. I thought it would make a good game, so I donned my cape and flew off in search of some stressed-out vampires.
It took me a while to find any, but eventually I stumbled upon a group of grumpy vampires who were complaining about their lives. They looked so stressed, I decided to swoop in and "vampire-proof" their location.
Using my powers, I limited the energy drain from these vampires and also gave them a break from their stress. They were so thankful that a contented murmuring filled the air!
After finishing my stress collecting mission, I returned to my abode to make schedule the resulting experiments. As I prepared the test tubes and lightning rods, I wondered if I could find another stressed-out group of vampires to help.
Just then, the doorbell rang. A group of three vampires appeared, wearing lab coats and carrying briefcases. They explained that they were scientists working on a project to create a vampirix, a small type of vampire which feeds off of stress instead of blood.
I welcomed them in and we discussed the details of this project. As they left, their words reminded me of the importance of experimenting and discovering new things.
I cracked a smile, feeling a new kind of energy flow through me. I guess it's true what they say about stress - it can be a good thing if you learn how to channel it in the right way!
