Today was the weirdest day of my life, and it all started when I decided to visit one of my scientist friends. I hadn't seen him in ages and he had been working on this secret experiment which I was super keen to check out.

So I flew off towards his lab in the hills of Transylvania but I got a bit lost and ended up somewhere I had never been before... and I can already feel the stress building up inside me. Vampires like me rely on stress more than blood and wow, I was feeling thirsty!

But then, to my surprise, I noticed my friend's lab emerging from behind a pile of rocks! I was so relieved to find it, still in one piece. As I made my way closer I started to notice how strange it looked from the outside. It was emitting this faint glow and eery noises echoed from behind the doors.

Curious, I decided to have a look inside and what I found was extraordinary. It was a lab full of rock music, sculpture, gardening, airplanes, politics, computers, night flying, astronomy and all kinds of fun experiments!

My friend, too, was pretty strange. He had a pun loving parrot, a chemistry experimenting cat and a machine that spewed out random trivia questions! He was even wearing a hi-tech Mars mission jacket.

Turns out he was not just experimenting on some secret project, he was secretly planning a mission to Mars! All of his random quirky inventions were made with the purpose of sending something to Mars one day. And what would these random artifacts be used for? Only he knows the answer.

We ended up having the greatest time, making music, playing video games, pranking each other, until it was late and it was time for me to fly home.

But my mission for the day was complete: I had found my stress snack and was now back to my old self again. As for my friend and his eccentric Mars mission ideas? Well, that's definitely something I'll remember for the rest of my life.
