Greetings, diary. Today has been a rather strange day. First, I had my usual morning routine of sleeping during the day and coming out of my cave at nightfall. Before that, I had to tend to my garden and check that all the shrubs and trees were in good shape. During the night, I had to entertain some nice kobolds that stopped by the stars. I was doing an impression of the Great Vampire Count Dracula for them, which, for obvious reasons, I am very good at.
It was shortly afterwards that something strange happened. I was in the middle of collecting stardust when something caught my eye. It was a huge, half-moon shaped object with a red and orange glow that seemed to be coming from the core of it. It was most mind-boggling. I knew immediately that I wanted to study it and find out more. After a while I remembered the old transporter in my cave. My plan was to transport this object away before anything could happen to it and scrutinize it in the safety of the cave.
It seemed the plan worked out, as the object suddenly disappeared with a loud pop. I checked the transporter and it was all in working order, so I spent the whole night examining the object until the early hours of the morning. Turns out, it was a magical device that allowed me to control the level of stress in the area, which I thought was highly amusing.
I decided to test it out and created a nice, relaxing atmosphere around the village. In the morning, the villagers woke up to a calm and pleasant atmosphere. To put it simply, the device was a blessing in disguise.
It has been a truly bizarre day, but I'm quite satisfied with the result. It goes to show that no matter how small you may be, you can still make a difference in this world. Until next time, diary!
