Today was an interesting day. I woke up late and stumbled out of bed to find a beautiful sight welcoming the morning sun. My garden had been overrun with a plethora of non-traditional plants. I was amazed, confused, and intrigued all at once. I spent most of the morning and early afternoon tending to my new nursery. I used my vampire influences on the plants, hoping to increase their growth rate; algorithms, equations, and physics principles were utilised in my experiment, yet I was pleasantly surprised by the results.
By late afternoon I had worked up an appetite and it seemed my date with a meal was already upon me. For my dinner, I took a leisurely stroll around town. Darkness had descended and the night was alive with secrets waiting to be discovered. Everywhere I went, I heard people laughing. It was obvious why once I heard it was the 4thof April – National Vampire Joke Day!
The air was electrified with laughter. People of all ages were sharing vampire jokes and puns, debating the validity of vampire lore, and pondering the thought of such creatures walking amongst them. I felt my spirit lighten, as if I had just been injected with some kind of laughing potion. I was suddenly in full pranking mode, coming up with comedic revenge plans as I listened in on the conversations.
I finally came to rest at a café, treating myself to some coffee and a delightful fruit tart. I sat there, sipping my beverage and looking out the window, watching the moon rise in all its glory, when a new idea suddenly struck me. How about a rock music concert on Mars, I thought to myself, and so the idea of a rock concert in the distant planet began to take shape.
I spent the rest of my evening researching ways to make my new plan come true. I looked into the details of planning a rocket launch, went through the process of building a spacecraft, figured out a suitable place on Mars, made a rough musical set list for the concert, and even consulted some of my scientist friends for their input and advice. As I thought, I crafted another plan along the way, which was the construction of a platform made of solidified lava to serve as the stage.
As morning started to approach, I made myself comfortable in my bed, my plan still in progress. I couldn't help but feel excited for the possibilities lying ahead. A rock music concert on Mars! Even I couldn't believe my ideas. Who knows what tomorrow's journal page will bring.
