Vampirix diary Mary Read

26 Aug 2024

Greetings, dear diary! Today was quite the eventful day in the hills of Transylvania. As I was flying through the night sky, searching for my next victim... I mean, for my next source of stress to feast upon, I stumbled upon a group of scientists having a trivia night in the middle of the forest. How peculiar!

Being the curious vampirix that I am, I decided to join in on the fun. As soon as I landed, the scientists were taken aback by my presence. But fear not, for I quickly reassured them that I was just there to partake in their trivia game and not to suck their blood.

The first question was about the chemical composition of moon rocks, and my dear friend Dr. Frankenbrain confidently answered "Silicon and cheese!" Oh, how we all laughed at his hilarious response. It seems my love for puns has rubbed off on him.

Next, it was my turn to answer a question about the distance between Mars and Earth. Without hesitation, I shouted "Two cosmic high-fives and a catapult ride away!" The scientists were impressed by my knowledge of astronomy, even if my answer was a bit unconventional.

After the trivia game, I decided to show off my skills in the art of sculpture. Using my vampire powers, I transformed a pile of rocks into a magnificent statue of a cat playing a guitar. The scientists were amazed by my talent and promptly asked me to teach them the ways of the sculpting vampire.

As the night went on, we found ourselves engaging in a heated debate about the political situation in the vampire world. It turns out that even vampires have disagreements about foreign blood imports and garlic trade agreements.

Suddenly, the conversation took a humorous turn when one of the scientists suggested we start a band called "The Flying Vampires" and perform rock music in the night sky with airplane-shaped guitars. What a ridiculous and brilliant idea!

As the sun began to rise, signaling the end of our night of fun and laughter, I couldn't help but feel grateful for my scientist friends and the joy they bring into my immortal life. Who knew that a group of nerdy humans could be so entertaining?

And so, dear diary, as I bid you goodnight and retreat to my coffin for some well-deserved rest, I can't help but dream of the day when I will finally journey to Mars and explore the cosmos with my fellow vampire scientists. The future is bright, or should I say, dark and mysterious, for Mootzulea the vampirix!

Until next time,

Mootzulea
