Mootzulea`s Journal

Vampirix diary Mary Read

Dear Diary,

Today was another typical day in the life of Mootzulea. I woke up feeling a little stressed, but luckily I had a delicious breakfast of stress balls to start my day off right. As I sat in my cozy coffin-shaped bed, I couldn't help but think about how lucky I am to have such a unique diet. Blood? Gross. Stress? Delicious.

After my morning meal, I decided to go for a stroll through the hills of Transylvania. The cool night air felt refreshing on my pale skin as I passed by the old castle where my distant cousin Dracula resides. I popped in to say hello, but he was too busy brooding in his dark chamber to chat. Typical Dracula.

As I continued my walk, I ran into my scientist friends who were conducting some experiments in the moonlight. They were trying to create a potion that would turn water into wine. I offered to help, but they politely declined, saying that turning water into wine was a job best left to a higher power. I shrugged and continued on my way, eager to see what other adventures the night had in store for me.

I stopped by the local rock concert happening in the village square and danced the night away to the sounds of my favorite band, Bat Out of Hell. The lead singer was a fellow vampirix who could really belt out a tune. I tried to join in on the singing, but my stress-filled voice just couldn't compare to hers. Oh well, maybe I'll start a stress-eating choir instead.

After the concert, I headed home to tend to my garden. I have a green thumb when it comes to growing eerie-looking plants that only bloom under a full moon. I spent hours nurturing my plants, talking to them in their strange language and singing them lullabies to help them grow big and strong. Who knew plants could be so picky?

As the night grew late, I decided to indulge in a little night flying. I hopped in my homemade airplane (crafted from the bones of unlucky travelers) and took off into the darkness. The feeling of soaring through the night sky was exhilarating, and I couldn't help but cackle with delight as I did loop-de-loops and barrel rolls above the hills of Transylvania.

Now, as I write this in my journal by the light of the moon, I can't help but feel grateful for the strange and wonderful life I lead. Sure, being a vampirix can be stressful at times, but hey, at least I have a killer sense of humor. And who knows, maybe one day I'll make my dream of going to Mars a reality. Until then, I'll just keep on living my best undead life.

Yours ghoulishly,
Mootzulea
