Vampirix diary Mary Read

11 Sep 2024

Today was quite eventful in the hills of Transylvania. I woke up feeling extra hungry for stress, so I decided to visit my dear friend, Dr. Frankenfurter, who always has the most chaotic lab experiments to snack on. As I flew over to his castle, I couldn't help but hum along to some classic rock tunes playing in my head.

When I arrived, Dr. Frankenfurter was in the middle of creating a potion that would make vegetables come to life and dance the tango. Of course, being the curious vampirix that I am, I decided to join in on the fun. We added a dash of stress from my previous night's astronomy trivia game loss, and voilà! The carrots and broccoli started busting out some killer moves. It was a sight to behold.

After our vegetable dance party, I realized I had to hurry back home to tend to my prized pumpkin patch. As I flew through the night sky, I couldn't help but admire the beauty of the stars and planets above. I made a mental note to ask my scientist friends for a telescope upgrade so I could get a better view of Mars.

When I landed in my garden, I was greeted by my trusty feline companion, Whiskers. She meowed at me as if scolding me for being away for too long. I reassured her that I had brought her some new catnip from my friend, Professor Whiskers, the cat scientist. She purred in delight and began frolicking around the pumpkin patch.

As I tended to my pumpkins, I couldn't help but think about my dream of visiting Mars. I made a mental note to start saving up some stress for a rocket ticket. Maybe I could convince Elon Musk to let me hitch a ride on one of his SpaceX flights. After all, who wouldn't want a vampirix on Mars?

Suddenly, I was interrupted by the sound of laughter coming from the neighboring village. It seemed my fellow vampires were up to their usual pranks again. I chuckled to myself, wondering what mischief they were causing this time. Perhaps I should join in on the fun later.

As the night went on, I sat back in my garden, surrounded by pumpkins and the faint glow of fireflies. I couldn't help but feel grateful for my eccentric hobbies and equally quirky friends. Life as a vampirix may be strange, but it's never boring. And who knows, maybe one day I'll be the first vampirix on Mars, experimenting with stress-eating aliens and rocking out to some intergalactic tunes. But for now, I'll just enjoy the absurdity of my Transylvanian life.
