Ah today was a good day. The strain of life in Transylvania has been positively affecting me of late. I ventured out for a walk in the mountains and realised that we vampirix have our own unique form of stress eating, and it’s strangely satisfying. I guess it’s just an acquired taste.
On my way back, I stopped at an old abandoned shed that I have spent some time in. Inside, I had a wonderful surprise; my scientist friends had conducted some experiments in it and there were all sorts of contraptions. I eagerly started playing around with them, seeing what effect I could have on them. After all, I am a sucker for experiments.
One of the contraptions was a mini star projector, and I quickly got to work trying to figure out how it worked. I ended up producing a beautiful constellation of stars in the shape of a bat. A vampirix bat! It was a beautiful sight and the eerie glow it produced made me proud.
After my success with the star projector, I decided to test another machine I had seen: an artificial intelligence device. I switched it on and watched with wonder as it began conversing with me. It wasn’t particularly good at conversation, but it made me laugh with its puns and strange questions.
The next thing I knew, I was playing a game of trivia with the AI. Needless to say, my deep knowledge of science and politics helped me out. But then it began asking me random questions about astronomy, airplanes, rock music and the like. That puzzled me, since I had no knowledge of such things. I started to panic, but then I thought of the old saying “fake it till you make it”, so I pretended to know what I was talking about.
And so, because of my quick-thinking, I was able to prove my superior aptitude as a scientist. No doubt some other vampirix will soon follow in my footsteps, but for now I am the champ! To celebrate my victory, I had a night-flight and listened to some rock music while admiring the stars. It was an amazing experience and I cannot wait for tomorrow’s adventures.
