Today I awoke with a strange feeling. I had a dream of flying to a distant planet. I had never felt such an urge to explore before. I realized that if I was ever going to do it, I had to go now. I knew I had to find my way to a place on Mars where I could safely travel.
So, I quickly gathered up the things I would need for the trip. I gathered up my favorite rock records, some cat glasses, a laptop, a spool of wire, my screwdriver, and my homemade interstellar amplifier. All of these items that would help me safely make it to my destination.
I set off early in the morning with a couple of friends, who shall remain nameless, and drove quickly to my destination. Unfortunately, the roads were rough and I had a few bumps along the way, but eventually we made it. Soon enough, I was standing on the edge of space looking back at the tiny Earth I had left behind.
We decided to celebrate by playing some trivia games, and I was quite pleased when I got a few of the questions right. We spent a few hours enjoying the beauty of the stars and soon enough, it was time to go.
I said goodbye to my friends and ventured out into space alone. I floated past planets and galaxies until I reached my destination. It was a magnificent sight to behold. I could feel the magnitude of the universe around me and I felt almost insignificant in comparison, but that was ok.
I had one final mission before I reached my final destination. I watched as my capsule flew past a large asteroid. I quickly activated the interstellar amplifier and it began playing one of my favorite rock songs. I laughed as my spacecraft filled with booming bass guitars and thunderous drum beats.
I knew the galaxy was no joke and that I had to remain focused if I wanted to make it to my destination in one piece. After a few more hours, I spotted a large building in the distance. It was my spacecraft’s destination station!
I quickly exited the spacecraft and I walked around the station. It was filled with strange equipment and I quickly realized it was a laboratory. I had uncovered a plot to build a giant death ray that was powered by vampire energy! I quickly put a stop to the plans and left the station.
I made it safely to my destination and began my exploration of the galaxy. On my way back I even got to witness a shooting star! I made it back safe and sound and I sure had an amazing adventure!
