Today was a good day. I woke up in my hilltop (hidden) castle and stretched out in the sunlight coming through the windows. I felt energized and ready to take on the day.

I made my way downstairs and looked out at my kingdom, which stretches for miles. I already felt like taking courses and she soon starts to feel like she is really getting the hang of algebra. All the pretentious vampire math-letes she was afraid of dealing with on the internet have been very gentle and generous towards her, making it a pleasure to learn.

I had some lunch, a little bit of stress that I had sucked out of a passerby, and fresh blood from a nearby vein. I must say, a combination like this can really jumpstart your day!

After lunch I went out for a fly in the sky. I find gliding over nature to be a wonderful meditative experience, and it comes in handy for keeping tabs on my kingdom.

I spent some time in the air before returning to my castle. I set up my lab and started a few experiments. I was busy with chemistry until well after dark.

Time seems to fly when you are being creative, so before I knew it I had spent hours working. I should probably get some sleep now, if I want to be alert and productive tomorrow.

I decided to head to bed and grabbed a few snacks before I went to sleep: a bat brochette from the kitchen counter and some powdered rock music from my stereo.

That night I dreamed of flying in my plane over the hills of Transylvania. I was searching for the best prank I could possibly pull off, a joke so ridiculous, it would make my scientist friends and even the master vampire laugh.

Having a good laugh is an important part of life, even if you are a vampire.
