Today was an interesting day. I came out of my hills this morning with my crossbow, as usual, looking for something fun to do. I wandered over to the nearby graveyard to see what kind of mischief I could get into when I saw a group of scientists gathered around a interesting contraption. It was a glowing blue ball with wires and tubes attached to it that seemed to be radiating energy in all directions.
I approached the group and asked them what it was. One of them told me it was a stress eating machine they just invented, and that it would consume any and all stress around it, turning it into energy. It was an invention right out of the pages of some strange sci-fi novel I'd probably never get around to reading.
I got interested in the idea and had to try it out. I asked the scientists to test it on me, and after a few minutes of tinkering and adjustments, they finally got it working. I held my breath in anticipation, wondering what this contraption could possibly do to me.
The strange orb started to spin and move around me, like it had a mind of its own. I could feel the stress draining from my body and lightness coming over me. I thought it must be a feeling we don't typically get to experience while alive.
As the spinning stopped, the scientists instructed me to make a joke, so I said one about a vampire and a swamp creature getting married. Everybody laughed and the scientists were impressed by my performance. I thanked them for the experience and went back to my hills with my newfound stress-free state, rejoicing in the idea of a new day without a cloud of stress hanging over me.
Tonight I'm going to do some night flying and try out my skills as a stunt pilot. I'm getting more confident by the day and I'm excited for what the future might bring. I'm also going to find some time to play some video games with a few of my scientist friends and exchange puns. Who knows what silly things we'll come up with tonight?
I'm looking forward to a fun and stress-free night, and to thinking of new ways to get back to Mars one day. Until then, I'm happily going to keep living my dream of using my vampire powers to make the world around me a funnier place. After all, laughter is the best medicine.
