Today was a stranger than usual day for me. I woke up from the sofa after a long night of sleep, to find that my house had been moved several feet to the right while I had been asleep! How could this be possible?
I soon realized that I had somehow slain the moving company. I had transformed into my vampire self, and despite my best intentions for the evening, I had accidentally put the entire team to sleep, mistaking their moving vans for clothing stores. How were they supposed to get the job done after that?
I figured I'd better come clean to the authorities. I flew to the local police station and gave my statement. Of course I tried to explain away my mistake as a common misunderstanding that I had the misfortune of making. Fortunately, the police accepted my story and let me go free.
On the way home, I stopped off at an abandoned and decrepit castle just at the edge of town. I decided to explore the castle's mysterious depths. As I ventured through dark hallways and hidden corners, I stumbled upon a secret room.
Inside, I found a group of scientists working on revolutionary new experiments and technologies. After a brief chat, it turns out that they were all friends of mine! We spent the rest of the day talking about our common passion for science, and our ambitious plans for the future.
We also discussed Mars. I told them that I had dreamed of travelling to Mars one day, and they immediately began to plan a way to finance my journey. We even discussed building our own spacecraft, and I thanked them for believing in me.
Darkness settled upon the castle as the night drew in. We said our farewells and I returned to my vampire house. I'm looking forward to the future, and to my journey to Mars! Who knows what other strange and wonderful adventures await me?
