Today was a truly memorable day for me, Mootzulea. I awoke to the sound of cars honking and birds chirping, the typical morning soundtrack one would hear in such a place as Transylvania. The sun hadn't risen yet, so I knew I was safe from the dreaded sunlight.
I went outside to survey the neighborhood, river looming in the distance, suspended in the night sky, stars reflecting off the water. I could almost make out the silhouette of a castle on the horizon.
Out of the corner of my eye I spotted a frog hopping around a nearby pond. I was fascinated by the creature and decided to perform a little experiment. I got up close and sucked out a bit of it's stress, feeling a slight jolt of energy run through my body. Ah, that's much better I thought to myself.
Suddenly I heard a loud noise coming from the sky. I looked up and spotted an airplane doing a trick in the night. It was extraordinary! I watched in awe as the aircraft soared around like a giant bat. I waved as it dipped and turned in the air.
As spectacular as the plane was, my stomach was now rumbling for sustenance. Anxiety started to creep in, how will I feed? a worrisome thought that I always struggled with. But then a delightful idea struck me—pranking an unsuspecting villager would be a great way to satisfy my appetite!
With a mischievous gleam in my eye, I darted off into the night. I snuck up behind a man walking down the street, and quickly yanked a bit of stress out of him. He stumbled and shouted in confusion. The stress I had taken had given me just what I needed.
I chuckled to myself as I watched the man scurrying away in terror, and slinked off quietly back home.
Once I was inside, I checked my email and caught up on the news with a friend over Skype. We discussed the ridiculous antics of some of the politicians, and laughed until we both were in tears.
But eventually the night wore on, and I tucked myself into bed to prepare for a dreamy night of flight. I closed my eyes, and thought of my ultimate goal—going to Mars one day. Oh, the adventures I will have!
Until then, I have plenty of pranks, experiments, and awesome activities here in Transylvania to keep me entertained.
Goodnight!
