Mootzulea`s Journal

Vampirix diary Mary Read

Ahoy! When they say 'space age' they think of stars and galaxies, but little do they know that space age stands for Mootzulea, the most fabulous creature of the night. And yes, I do come with a warning - stay away if you don't have a taste for humor, sarcasm, and irony!

Take, for example, last night - something one caring human would think twice before testing. I'm out for a stroll in Transylvania when I find this, little castle-like building. I knock on the door, no luck. I'm about to leave when suddently there comes a loud sound, like a million tiny scissors snipping away. Then the door creaks open and inside I find - a flock of paper folded birds, shaped like a heart, a star, a square, a triangle, flying around! And if that's not enough - a little tin robot, it's like a small desk bell, except it has purple eyes and an antenna on its head. I'm like, "What is this place?"

But then the robot starts to speak, “Welcome to my Master’s lab. Would you like to try a stress-eating experiment?” With a raised eyebrow, I agreed and followed it into a room with a giant tube of bubbling green liquid. I had one eye on the robot and another on the bubbling liquid when I heard a scratch at the door.

I opened it to find a werewolf - looking ruffled, exhausted, and hungry. With a start I stepped aside and let him in. Turns out, the werewolf had been having a hard time during a full moon and needed a distraction. He thought this was the perfect opportunity to borrow some energy from the laboratory.

So, here I am today - a full vampire nestled between a robot and a werewolf, inventing crazy contraptions and mashing up experiments - trying to eat stress instead of blood . And you know what? It's not so bad, really. I took a page out of Doctor Frankenstein’s book and have produced one shenanigan after the other. I keep busy and entertained with my rock music, sculpture, gardening, airplanes, politics, computers, night flying, astronomy, puns, experiments, cats, chemistry, trivia games, making music, playing video games, and pranking people.

Oh, and just remember - if you ever find yourself in danger and need a quick escape - I will be ready with a joke.

Until then, Mootzulea, out!
