It was a typical evening for me, Mootzulea, the small vampire who feeds on the stress of humans. I was out and about, looking for someone to relieve of their stress. I usually flew around town, relying on my vampire senses to pick up on the anxiety of my targets.
Tonight I had my eye on a middle-aged man in a suit, walking around a street corner like he was on a mission. He looked particularly stressed out, so I decided cheer him up with a few of my jokes.
My vampire powers enabled me to get close to him without being detected and, before he knew it, I was already telling him a few puns. The man looked puzzled at first, but then couldn't hold back a few laughs. I was successful!
But my work didn't end there. As I flew away, I heard a voice from the ground call "hey!". It was the middle-aged man. He asked me to accompany him to the nearby park and share some more jokes with him.
Weirdly enough, after such a stressful situation the man was still interested in jokes and laughter! Even more weirdly, as soon as we reached the park, he said he had to go and do something for work.
I was left standing there, a bit puzzled. But then, all of a sudden, I spotted something which made this situation even weirder: a group of scientists wearing white lab coats, with their heads stuck in the night sky, holding a roadmap of the stars.
It turned out they were my scientist friends, and they wanted me to accompany them on a mission to the planet Mars! Even though it was completely absurd, we were soon off on our journey.
The rest is history. We made it to Mars, and had the most exciting, most scientific, and most ridiculous adventure possible.
So, if you are ever looking for something a bit different, you know who to call.
