Today was a truly exceptional day. I woke up particularly early, for a vampirix, that is. You see, vampires aren't the most natural early risers but I had a feeling that today was a special day. 'What was it about today?', I pondered to myself as I made my way to my laboratory. Ah, yes - today was the day of my experiment.
As a vampirix, I had focused my studies on stress eating - otherwise known as a stress gourmande. I was determined to find a creative and potentially silly way to consume my meals. Something more interesting than the traditional methods. Fortunately, I had the perfect opportunity to test out this fun idea, and I was more than a little excited.
Arriving to the lab, I cleared my workspace and made sure I had all the necessary components. I set up a miniature cannon and packed it with marshmallows. I was ready to fire away. With much anticipation I lit the fuse, and off shot the little treats. I watched them drift higher and higher until... Boom!
From the shock of the blast, the marshmallows burst in mid-air, sending a rain of strawberry flavored confetti down on me. What a delicious surprise!
The experiment was a success. I thought to myself 'Ah, finally a way to enjoy my meals that's more than just drinking blood'. From that moment, I was sold, and I knew I'd use this method for all my stress eating needs.
Feeling accomplished, I decided to take a break and take in some rock music, my go-to stress-reliever. I wondered if I could start a punk rock band. Navigating through my thoughts, I daydreamed of a near-future, jamming out with my fellow vampirix, on a stage, under the moonlight.
Ah, what could be more perfect? All I need now is a great name for the band... Perhaps The Draculas? That's not bad.
