Today started off like any other day. It was just before sunset, so the blue sky was fading away and the stars were starting to begin twinkling. I’ve always loved this time of day— when I could go to some of my favorite places and revel in the fading light.
Tonight, I decided I wanted to try something a bit different, so I decided to call one of my scientist friends and ask if he wanted to come fly around with me. He is almost as passionate about flying as I am!
I quickly got dressed in my vampire uniform— black shirt, black pants, black cape— and soared off into the night sky. It was a beautiful evening, with the stars bright and the dim lights of the nearby villages giving me enough of a guide. As I passed by all the different places I could have gone, I thought to myself, “Hmm, why don’t I try to make it an extra-special night?”
So…I decided to pull off one of my favorite pranks. I decided to fly down to the local cemetery and shout Halloween jokes at the top of my lungs! I enjoyed hearing the startled reactions of the locals and the faint cursing of a few annoyed old farmers who probably thought I was out to get them.
It took a while to get to my friend’s house, because I kept flying into too many clouds and trees (I still need some help with night flying). But I eventually made it. He was in his lab, surrounded by bubbling beakers and monitors, and a few cats who came running up to greet me.
We then proceeded to spend the evening flying around the countryside, playing trivia games and making music with my trusty guitar, which I had strapped to my back. We stopped a few times so that we could look up at the stars and listen to my friend discuss the latest space mission news. We then headed back to his place so that I could make us some pizza and we could play a few rounds of computer games.
By the time it was midnight, I was exhausted and decided it was time to head home. I said my goodbyes, grabbed some of the fallen leaves from the courtyard (for a fun science experiment later!), and made my way back to my vampire castle in the hills of Transylvania.
Today was a great day for sure. And I know tomorrow will be even better!
A distant cousin of Dracula, Mootzulea grew up in the hills of Transylvania, mainly in the area of Sibiu.
He knows a lot of jokes but is very determined into battles. He is passionate about science and has a lot of scientist friends. Therefore, you will have an increased production of scientists. He dreams of going to Mars one day.
