It was an ordinary day in the hills of Transylvania for me, Mootzulea the vampirix; a distant cousin of that famous fellow, Dracula.
I had just finished up my breakfast - a nice plate of stress - when I received an unexpected invitation from my scientist friends. To the surprise of many, but not me, I found out that we would be having a lecture on the fascinating subject of Martian exploration!
I could hardly contain my excitement. I had always dreamed of one day going to Mars, and now I was going to have a chance to hear an esteemed expert talking about all the amazing things that could be accomplished on the Red Planet.
We made our way to the lecture hall, and I arrived a bit early so I could get a good seat. After a few minutes, a professor from a prestigious university made his way to the podium. He seemed to know an incredible amount about Mars; facts and figures that I had never even heard of.
He spoke rather cosmically, waxing poetically about the possibility of one day sending Homo sapiens to Mars and back. As the lecture came to an end, I knew I had to ask him one question. I raised my tiny hand and inquired about the feasibility of building a rock n’ roll venue on the Red Planet.
Unfortunately, the professor simply shrugged and said that it wouldn’t be easy.
Oh well, I thought, maybe someday.
After the lecture, I made my way back to the hills. I was filled with excitement, yet also slightly disappointed that I wouldn't be able to rock out on Mars any time soon. But I had a plan; I decided to get to work right away on an invention that would combine the best of all the things I love and make it possible to rock out on Mars.
This would require a unique synthesis of propulsion systems, computer programming, electric guitar know-how, and the power of sound. I knew it would take a lot of work, so I would just have to wait for the right combination of time, money, and technology. But I was up for the challenge, and I was certainly not giving up on my Martian dream.
In the end, that was the best thing I could do. So I peeled off my cape, cracked open my laptop and went to work.
Ah, the wonders of science.
A distant cousin of Dracula, Mootzulea grew up in the hills of Transylvania, mainly in the area of Sibiu.
He knows a lot of jokes but is very determined into battles. He is passionate about science and has a lot of scientist friends. Therefore, you will have an increased production of scientists. He dreams of going to Mars one day.
