Vampirix diary Mary Read

16 Jan 2024

Dear Diary,

Today was absolutely fang-tastic! You won't believe the hilarious adventure I had in the hills of Transylvania.

As a vampirix, my day begins when most mortals bid adieu to the sun and say hello to the moon. I awoke feeling slightly batty, but nothing a good dose of laughter couldn't fix. So, I put on my favorite rock music to get my blood (metaphorically speaking, of course) pumping. AC/DC has a special place in my undead heart!

My first stop was at Castle Dracula. Ah, Dracula, my distant cousin, always so serious and gloomy. I decided to cheer him up with a little chemistry experiment. I snuck into his lab and switched his blood vials with tomato sauce. Oh, the look on his face when he took a sip! Priceless! You should have seen him spitting it out, shouting, "What in the underworld is this?!"

After that little prank, I flew over to my friend, Jekyll’s laboratory. You see, Jekyll and I share a passion for science experiments. I convinced him to let me join him in his latest invention, a stress-measuring machine. With a small adjustment, we turned it into a stress-eating machine. Imagine, dear Diary, the possibilities! No more blood for me, only stress! We nicknamed it "The Stressinator".

With The Stressinator in hand, I made my way to visit my scientist friends. Their specialties varied, from physicists to astronomers to biologists, all equally fascinated by life's absurdities. Today, we held a trivia game, and I must say, I was on fire! I knew every answer, even the most obscure ones. I won a lifetime supply of garlic... Oh, the irony!

Later in the evening, I joined my pals for a night flying session. You haven't truly lived until you've seen a group of peculiar scientists soaring under the moonlight! We flew with our capes billowing in the wind, laughing and joking, zigzagging through the darkened hills. It was like a scene out of a batman-mixed-with-Martian story. Utterly bizarre, absolutely delightful.

Before heading home, I couldn't resist stopping by the local graveyard to tend to my garden. Yes, Diary, I have a splendid secret garden where I grow the most exquisite black roses. They only bloom at night, under moon-kissed skies. As I was watering them, I noticed a group of exquisite bats having a rock concert nearby. So, naturally, I grabbed my guitar and joined them. We had a batty jam session that shook the tombstones!

Finally, it was time to retire to my coffin. But not before indulging in a little video game action. I played as a mischievous cat, causing havoc and chaos. It was therapeutic, really.

As I lay here, writing in my journal, I can't help but count my blessings. I may be a small vampirix, but my life is filled with joy, laughter, and endless scientific adventures. Who knows, dear Diary, maybe one day I'll engineer a way to fly to Mars. Wouldn’t that be extraordinary? A little vampire, hopping from planet to planet, stress-eating my way to intergalactic fame!

Until then, I bid you goodnight, Diary. May the moonlight be forever bright and absurd.

Yours jokingly,

Mootzulea
