Vampirix diary Mary Read

22 Apr 2024

Today was a typical day in my life as a vampirix who feeds on stress instead of blood. I woke up in my cozy cave in the hills of Transylvania, feeling a bit groggy from staying up all night jamming to some rock music on my electric guitar.

After a quick breakfast of stress balls (literally balls made of stress that I munch on for sustenance), I decided to pay a visit to my scientist friends who live in the neighboring forest. As I flew over the treetops in the moonlit night, I couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of the night sky. I have always been passionate about astronomy, and nothing beats flying through the stars.

When I arrived at my friends' laboratory, they were in the middle of conducting a series of bizarre experiments involving cats, chemistry, and puns. I couldn't help but join in on the fun, adding my own unique flair to the mix. We ended up creating a concoction that made the cats fly around the room in a hilarious frenzy, meowing puns in a cacophony of chaos.

After the laughter died down, we decided to take a break and play a round of trivia games. Being the trivia master that I am, I was able to stump even the most knowledgeable of my friends with my obscure facts about Mars and its moons. I may not have been to Mars yet, but I dream of one day stepping foot on the red planet and exploring its mysteries.

As the night wore on, we decided to pull off a prank on some unsuspecting villagers in the nearby town. We rigged up a contraption that would make it look like the town square was being invaded by aliens. The looks on their faces when they saw the UFO hovering overhead were priceless, and we couldn't contain our laughter as we watched from a safe distance.

After all the excitement, I decided to wind down by tending to my garden of carnivorous plants. There's something soothing about watching them devour their prey, a reminder of the circle of life in the most bizarre way possible.

As the first light of dawn began to creep over the horizon, I knew it was time to retreat back to my cave and rest up for the day ahead. Despite the absurdity and weirdness of my life as a vampirix who feeds on stress, I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. Who needs blood when you can have a life filled with laughter, science, and the occasional prank?
