Mootzulea`s Journal

Vampirix diary Mary Read

18 May 2024

Dear Diary,

Today was quite an eventful day in the hills of Transylvania. I woke up feeling famished for some stress, so I decided to pay a visit to my dear friend, Professor Mordicus. As I floated into his laboratory, I could sense that he was in the midst of a particularly stressful experiment. Perfect timing!

As I crept up behind him, he turned around and nearly jumped out of his skin. "Mootzulea, you scared the bejeezus out of me!" he exclaimed. I chuckled and replied, "Well, you know me, always lurking in the shadows to suck away your stress!"

After feeding on his stress for a while, I felt energized and ready for some mischief. I decided to pay a visit to my friend Vlad the Bat, who always has a good joke up his sleeve. As I flew into his cave, I could hear him practicing his stand-up routine. "What's a vampire's favorite fruit? A blood orange!" he quipped. I cackled with laughter, nearly falling off my perch.

Feeling giddy from all the jokes and stress-eating, I decided to indulge in some of my other passions. I flew over to my neighbor's garden and helped myself to some fresh herbs for my latest potion. As I mixed together a peculiar concoction, I couldn't help but hum along to my favorite rock music playing in the distance.

Suddenly, a loud noise broke my concentration. It was the sound of a plane flying overhead in the dead of night. Curious to see who was out and about at this hour, I flew up to investigate. To my surprise, it was my scientist friend, Dr. Frankenstein, testing out his latest creation—a flying machine powered by catnip! I watched in awe as the contraption soared through the night sky, leaving a trail of sparks behind it.

As the night went on, I found myself engrossed in a game of trivia with my fellow vampirix, Luna. We laughed and traded puns as we competed to see who could answer the most absurd questions. Despite my love for science, I must admit that Luna's knowledge of astronomy and chemistry always impresses me.

Before I knew it, the sun began to rise, signaling the end of another night in Transylvania. As I drifted off to sleep, I couldn't help but dream of the day when I would embark on a journey to Mars. Who knows what kind of mischief and mayhem I'll get up to on the red planet?

Until next time, diary.

Yours eerily,
Mootzulea
