Mootzulea`s Journal

Vampirix diary Mary Read

28 Jun 2024

Today was quite an eventful day in the life of Mootzulea, the vampirix who feasts on stress rather than blood. As I woke up in my cozy crypt nestled in the Transylvanian hills, I was greeted by the sound of my scientist friends arguing over the best way to terraform Mars.

I decided to break up the heated debate by telling a joke about a neutron walking into a bar and asking how much for a drink. The bartender replied, "For you, no charge!" My friends rolled their eyes at my pun, but I could see a hint of a smile on their faces.

After breakfast (a bowl of stress balls soaked in anxiety sauce), I decided to tend to my garden. As I was pruning my Venus flytraps, I couldn't help but think about how much they reminded me of my distant cousin Dracula. Both of us have a taste for the unusual, after all.

As I watered my petunias, I noticed a group of curious cats watching me from the fence. I waved to them and they meowed back in unison, as if they were cheering me on in my gardening endeavors. I couldn't help but smile at their feline support.

After spending some time in the garden, I decided to work on my latest experiment - creating a stress-relieving serum made from a mixture of catnip and caffeine. As I stirred the concoction in my bubbling cauldron (yes, I have a cauldron, doesn't every vampirix?), I couldn't help but hum along to my favorite rock music playing in the background.

Suddenly, my computer beeped, notifying me of an incoming message from my friend, the famous astronaut Dr. Buzz Lightyear. He had just returned from a mission to the moon and wanted to discuss the possibility of me joining him on a future trip to Mars. My heart skipped a beat at the thought of finally fulfilling my lifelong dream of visiting the Red Planet.

After exchanging a few emails with Dr. Lightyear, I decided to relax by playing some video games. I challenged my friend, a werewolf who goes by the name of Howl-at-the-Moon, to a trivia game. The stakes were high - loser had to clean up the crypt for a month.

As the night fell and the stars twinkled in the sky, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the weird and wonderful life I lead. Sure, being a vampirix who eats stress is not your average existence, but it's certainly never boring.

And as I drifted off to sleep, listening to the soothing sound of airplanes flying overhead, I couldn't wait to see what absurd and quirky adventures tomorrow would bring. The life of Mootzulea, the stress-eating vampirix, was always full of surprises.
