Today was no ordinary day. I had heard about a party invitation for the night, which I just had to attend. I left with my friends early evening and we made our way to the hotel. The place was packed and the music was blaring. It was one of those nights which you wish could last forever.
I immediately made my way to the dance floor and let the music take control over me. I had been waiting for a night like this for so long and I just felt free. Before long I was in the middle of the crowd surrounded by all sorts of different people. We all just moved in sync with each other and it felt as if we had been dancing together for years.
The night was going by so fast and before I knew it, it was morning. After a few hours of sleep, I was ready to take on the day. And how did I plan to do that? Shopping of course! I just love going to the mall and picking up clothes, accessories, and just spending money in general. I felt powerful walking through the stores, as if every item I wanted to be mine.
After my shopping spree, I felt like a warrior princess and was ready to conquer the rest of the day. I stopped by a Starbucks to grab a Pina Colada (yes, it's a real drink) and continued on my journey. I went to the beach, where I often go to just sit and relax. I watched the ocean for a while and realized how tiny I truly am compared to the vast sea.
Just like that, my day had come to an end, and I was already anticipating my next adventure. Life is nothing but a fulfilling journey that is made of nothing but special days like this one. I'm just grateful to have experienced it.
