Today’s been an interesting day. One of my favorite pasttimes is night flying around the city with my friends, so that was on the agenda. Of course, I was the ringleader; I didn’t want to be any less fearless than well-known pirate Mary Read was! I made sure everyone remembered to bring their Pina Coladas, and then we were off swooping through the night sky and admiring the city lights below.
After my flight, I went to the mall for some shopping. I wanted to find something unique, something that no one else had. I was scouring the stores when I ran across something that caught my eye. It was a beautiful velvet cape with a hood. I had a feeling it was made just for me. So I bought it and put it on immediately.
After I was done at the mall, I decided to go to a political rally in town. I wanted to show my support for some of the causes I believe in, and also I wanted to launch my new night-time persona. I had made a striking entrance when I arrived with my cape rustling and cape billowing out behind me.
As I surveyed the crowd, I noticed many people staring open-mouthed at me. I was feeling momentarily self-conscious, when someone shouted my name. I recognized the voice immediately; it belonged to a good friend of mine, also a vampire.
Turns out she had organized the rally and was thrilled to have me there. After the rally we got to chatting and arguing about vampire-related news. It was a great time, and soon others had gathered around us, listening to our banter and trying (very unsuccessfully) to one-up us on vampire trivia. We stayed out late until the sun began to rise, and then dispersed off into the night.
As I flew home, I realized it had been a pretty spectacular night. Not just because I had gotten to feel like a true pirate, out in the night sky, but also because I’d gotten to express my real self, surrounded by understanding people. In that moment, I felt truly alive.

She likes Pina Coladas and getting caught in the rain, but leads very serious battles. She has a knack for making money, therefore, your production of money will be increased. Her inspiration, Mary Read, was an English pirate during the Golden Age of Piracy.
