I awoke suddenly in my castle this morning, and I must admit, I was feeling a bit befuddled. I'd just returned from a shopping excursion to the nearest mall, and I definitely gleaned some new fashion ideas that I intend to try out tonight. Already this morning I'd been gifted a fabulous pair of sunglasses by an admirer. My eyes fluttered open with excitement at the thought of how I would look donning them.
Alas! I rose from my bed and was nearly knocked back down as a giant bat flew across the room and out the window. Not a bad start to the day, I thought with a chuckle. One must be prepared for anything when you’re a vampire!
Then I was off, up to the roof to begin my night flying. Nothing beats a clear night to practice perfecting flying technique. Luckily, it seemed that all the other bats had gone to bed or a farmer had caught them all, because I was all by myself soaring through the sky and it was fabulous.
After my evening jaunt, I headed back down to my castle. I lit the fire to prepare some dinner and called out to my gathered guests: “Greetings! You may come in for some delicious food.” It was a motley crew of guests consisting of myself, two cats, a werewolf, and my girlfriend Abigail. We were all having a great time, telling jokes, eating a delicious dinner, and discussing politics.
Later on, I disappeared to my room to slip into something more comfortable. I chose my new outfit from the mall, a long black dress that shimmered in the light, and paired it with the sunglasses gifted to me earlier. Then, with a gust of my vampire powers, I disappeared in a billow of smoke to an exotic location for no particular reason. I found myself in old Eastern Europe, a perfect place to explore the secrets of the ancient vampires.
The night flew by as I dined on exotic food, mingled with old acquaintances, flitted from castle to castle, and even made a few new friends. As I returned home, I felt invigorated and refreshed from the adventures of the evening. I said goodbye once again to my guests and to the cats, and tumbled into bed dreaming of my next vampire escapade.
