Today was probably the weirdest day of my life. It started off with me going to the mall to buy some new clothes for my upcoming parties. Of course, the moment I walk in I'm greeted by a few of my girlfriends, and I know right away that we'll be spending the whole day getting ready and looking our best. But even I wouldn't have been expecting what happened next.
I was fishing through the racks of clothing when I heard a voice. It was muffled at first, but then it became clearer and clearer until I could hear the words. It was a night flying creature, a vampire of sorts, talking in a peculiar voice about some sort of weird plan to take over the world. I stared at the creature in disbelief, not sure if I should believe what I was hearing or just ignore it.
But then the creature spotted me, and soon it was chasing me throughout the entire mall. I ducked and dodged and ran as fast I could, narrowly avoiding getting caught several times. I was finally able to shake the creature, but I couldn't shake the feeling that something else was going on that I didn't understand.
Soon my friends managed to find me, and after a brief discussion we decided it was probably a good idea to head over to the mall's cafe for some exotic food and discuss what just happened. We talked about how this was the second time something weird like this had happened to me, and all we could do was speculate.
Around mid-evening, I decided it was time to turn my attention back to why I had come to the mall in the first place: to prepare for my upcoming parties. I shopped around for the perfect dress and shoes, and I even found a nice new hat. Before I knew it, I was back to my old self, but still with a sense of darkness lingering over me.
Finally, I made it back home and just as I thought I'd managed to avoid anymore surprises for the day, I noticed a dim light coming from outside my window. I opened the curtains and saw two large bats standing outside and gently knocking on the window. I felt my heart racing and I was about to go outside and investigate, when I remembered the vampire from the mall earlier. I took a deep breath and pulled the curtains shut, deciding it was probably best not to get involved.
I finished getting ready for bed and, after a few moments of contemplation, I let out a sigh of relief. I was glad to have made it out of the situation at the mall unscathed. But, I realized I still had no answers. Who was that vampire, and what did it want? I couldn't help but feel like this wasn't the last time I'd hear about them.
