My day started just like any other, except the sun seemed a little brighter and I noticed a slight chill in the air which promised a peculiar adventure. After a breakfast of honey and ambrosia and a strong cup of espresso, I was ready to hit the town.
First I went to the mall, as is fitting for a vampire of my calibur, and explored the new season’s collection. My friend had texted me about a new dress and I thought it would do me some good to look as fresh as the night I will have ahead of me. As I was searching, I heard a familiar purr coming from the end of the aisle. I found a fluffy white cat staring back at me, batting his paws at me for attention. I couldn’t resist and scooped him up in my arms.
After paying for my purchases, I had a wander around the city. I noticed people looking at me curiously as if they had never seen a creature like me before. I couldn’t help but smile at their glances. I had fun playing tricks on them with my powers of invisibility and changing expressions.
By the time the sun had set, I was ready to really let loose and have some fun. As I flew up into the air with my cape billowing behind me, I couldn’t help but feel like I was a part of something extraordinary.The wind brushed past my face, my hair afire, and all my worries melted away.
The night was young, I thought some friends and I would share a Pina Colada at the local bar before we go and create some mischief. I’m glad I have such a great group of friends; with them by my side, I know that no matter what happens I’ll have a blast.
Once we stepped in, the music kicked up and I knew it was time to party. Though I prefer dark electro, The Smiths were on the speakers and I couldn’t help but sing along. The conversations ranged from silly gossip to politics and I enjoyed every second of it. We talked until the sun started to peek out from below the horizon.
And just like that, my day was over. But I know the adventure isn’t over yet. I wouldn’t change a thing about it. That’s the beauty and danger of being a vampire.
