Today has been a quite exciting day.
Though I woke up feeling a bit odd since it's been a while since I fed, I quickly perked up when I received a new package in the mail. Inside were two bottles of Pina Colada - one for me and one for my girlfriend. Funnily enough, the mailman was quite overwhelmed when I opened the door to greet him. I couldn't help but chuckle, wondering why he was so scared of me.
The moment I opened the bottles and took a swig, a storm seemed to appear from out of nowhere. I laughed - couldn't this day get any better? The rain was coming down around me as I stepped out, enjoying the chance to get caught up in something.
I decided to go out for a night flight, as the rain had made it quite dark. I took to the skies, the wind whipping around me as I flew over the city. I watched as people ran for cover from the sudden rain, sheltering themselves wherever they could. Of course, then the lightning began and it was like the night sky had become even brighter. I felt like a warrior princess, in the sky, looking down on my kingdom below.
Once I landed and came to, I decided to make my way to the mall. A little shopping always makes me feel better and even though the stores were closed so late, I found a way to get in and get what I wanted - stress free.
When I got home, I heard some distant laughter coming from the next room. Turns out my girlfriend was watching Dracula movies with a bunch of her girlfriends, all laughing and just lounging around. I must admit, I was a little jealous - I may be a vampire, but I certainly wasn't as cool as the Count.
As I settled into bed, I thought about my day, and the weird and wonderful events I experienced. I love days like this - fulfilling, weird and exciting. I just hope tomorrow is just as absurd and weird!
