Today was an interesting day. I started the day by going out for a drink (I know, you're thinking pina colada, right? That's my favorite!) with my friend, Dawn. We went to the park and sat in silence, watching the sun rise and the moon set. I could feel her eyes as she gazed upon me wondering what I was thinking about.

We decided to go for a walk after we finished our drinks. We took a nice stroll through the town, exploring all of the shops and sights. It was quite enjoyable to be outside in nature and watch the world pass us by. At one point we decided to take a shortcut through an alleyway.

As we stepped into the dimly lit alley I immediately felt something strange, as if an ancient force was upon us. We froze, unable to take a step forward or back. A cat appeared at our feet and hissed. We crouched down, nervously watching it as it scurried away.

Suddenly, the alley changed around us. The walls rose up, darkness shrouded us and vampires began to appear and glide across the cobblestone ground. They circled around us, speaking in a strange language that seemed to come from the wind. I could feel their energy and a strange, powerful feeling overcoming me.

Needless to say, it all felt a bit weird - even for me. It felt like I was some sort of ancient princess warrior from another time and place. I wanted to flee, but I stayed to see what would happen.

Eventually the vampires dissipated and we hurried out of the alleyway. We went home and I pondered what had just happened until I eventually drifted off to sleep.

Maybe I should take up my old pastime and start pirating a bit again. As Mary Read, the pirate, I could explore the world and make some money. Who knows - it could be an interesting journey!
