Today was an eventful day. I was out in the wee hours of the night, my usual time for running my errands. I was doing some grocery shopping when I had the strangest experience. I saw a bat flying overhead and it dropped something in front of me. I picked it up and it turned out to be a small fortune cookie, but instead of a fortune message inside there was a tiny bottle filled with blood. I had no idea what to do with it, so I stashed it away in my pocket – I figured I’d figure out what to do with it later.
My next stop was the mall. It’s always fun to roam around and see what kind of strange sights pop up. I stopped in one shop to check out some strange jewelry and before I knew it, there was a crowd of people around me! I was a bit panicked so I ran out, but not until after one of the shoppers had handed me a wooden stake! I thanked him and bolted.
I spent some time in the park after that. It wasn’t really the safest place to be after dark, but I was curious about the stake and wanted to figure out what I was supposed to do with it. I discovered that it turned into a small crossbow when I held it up to the moon and pointed it at the stars. Talk about strange!
I decided it was time to go home after that and, on my way, I passed by a small theatre. The show was about to start so I decided to take my luck and slipped inside. But as soon as I did, I found myself inside a secret workshop! There were vampires everywhere, tinkering away at a mysterious project. Too shy to approach them, I snuck away and out the theatre.
Now that I was back home, I had some time to think about all the strange things that had happened. I still hadn’t figured out what to do with the blood or the stake, but at least I hadn’t seen any of the vampires from the theatre. I shrugged off my adventure and went to bed, thinking that tomorrow would be a better day.
