Today was a great day! I started my morning as I often do, with a hot cup of pina colada and a good stretch. Although I don't need to sleep, I still enjoy feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin.
After that I decided to go out for a stroll and take in the scenery. The sun was shining and the birds were singing. It was a beautiful day.
Suddenly, I heard a rumble in the distance. I quickly flew up to get a better view of the situation. It was a storm! I love being in the rain, so I decided to stay and enjoy the show.
The lightning was so intense I thought it was dangerous for me, but I was intrigued. I felt like an ancient princess warrior as I stood tall and proud in the midst of the ominous clouds. I saw a glint of a silver cross in my peripheral vision, my vampire instincts kicked in, and suddenly I felt oddly safe.
I thought it would never end, and then I heard the thunder, so loud and powerful that the clouds buried in its wake.
Once the rain stopped, I noticed that the sun was still shining and all the colors of the rainbow were visible. I smiled; it was almost like magic. Nothing beats nature’s beauty.
However, the rain brought something else with it. Something I knew all too well, something I hadn’t felt in a long time - stress - a type of energy that I can feed off of and give me strength. It’s like a drug, and I’ve become quite addicted to it.
I gave a satisfied sigh, tucked some of the stress away for later, and went on my merry way. I ran through the streets, passed by my friends, and indulged in a shopping spree with a few of them.
We went to the mall and I had a blast. I got some new clothes and makeup, and we gossiped about the latest celebrity gossip. By the end of the day, I was exhausted but content.
It’s days like this that make being a vampire worthwhile. I get to indulge in the things I love - music, drawing, politics, and more - while getting energy from the stress of the world.
