Today was a strange day. The funny thing is it was no different than yesterday, and yet something seemed strange. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, so I decided to take a stroll outside to clear my head. I don't usually go out in public, as I prefer to stay in my cozy cave, but I can't say I regret my decision.
On my journey I encountered something so strange, I nearly ran away! But curiosity got the better of me, so I decided to stay and try to figure out what was going on. In front of me stood a giant mechanical dragon! On its side it had the words "Dracula's Mechanical Monstrosity" written in bold, white lettering. It made a deep mechanical roar which sent chills up my spine.
For a moment I just stood there in shock until I finally managed to summon the courage to approach the mechanical dragon. I cautiously inspected it and tapped its claws with my feathered hands. I had no idea what its function was, but I could feel that it was quite powerful. If I ever tried to mess with it, I'm sure I wouldn't survive the confrontation.
Suddenly I noticed a thick white envelope sticking out of the dragon's mouth with my name written on it. Curiosity got the better of me again, so I opened it and found a letter:
Dear Mootzulea,
If you are reading this, then it means that you have perceived my Mechanical Monstrosity. Congratulations! You have been selected to participate in a special experiment of mine, which will take place tonight at midnight. I look forward to seeing you then.

I was so taken aback, I almost screamed. Then, I finally realized what was strange today: Dracula had made an appearance after centuries!
Although I was scared, I couldn't help but feel excited. I could finally get a chance to talk to him and perhaps join in his experiment. What could possibly go wrong?
For the rest of the day I prepared myself for the experiment and daydreamed about what amazing things could happen. I had a feeling this was going to be a night to remember!

A distant cousin of Dracula, Mootzulea grew up in the hills of Transylvania, mainly in the area of Sibiu.
