Today started with a bit of a surprise. Out of the blue, I got a call from an old friend, another vampirix, who lives in an abandoned castle not far from mine. We had a good chat and decided to go visit each other one night. Of course, as vampires, we had to plan our meeting in the exact moment when the moon is at its highest point in the sky.
We met in the moonlight, both of us wearing our most stylish velvet cloaks and laughing about the absurdity of it all. After exchanging pleasantries, I asked about her life and shared some of the latest gossip from around town. Turns out she was very busy in her castle, working on her latest experiment. She was trying to discover a way to give vampires the ability to fly. We spent some time discussing the mechanics and possibilities of this incredible feat. Unfortunately, every combination of ingredients she tried so far had failed to give her the desired power, so she asked me to help.
I was more than happy to lend a hand. Together, we worked all night long in her laboratory, mixing potions, adjusting elixirs and testing theories until the sun rose and the moon disappeared behind the horizon. The results were incredible and far exceeded our expectations. We both flew around in the moonlight, laughing with joy and excitement.
When the morning light hit our faces, we flew our separate ways and promised to meet up and continue our experiments soon.
I really do love being a vampirix. Every day brings something unexpected, something to learn, something to enjoy. And there's nothing better than exploring the possibilities together with other passionate scientists. Life can be so much fun when you share it with friends!
