Today was definitely an interesting day. I was up nicely early to send a text to my vampire buddies out in space. We love to play tricks on one another so I thought I'd send a picture of me with my hair dyed green instead of my usual shade of purple. That got quite a reaction, to say the least.
After that, I had to go shopping for the supplies I needed to make my latest experiment. You know, vampires are always trying something new, even us little ones that prefer to eat stress. I found all the ingredients I needed at the local lab store and then returned home.
In the afternoon I decided to do something I hadn't done in a while - take a stroll among the hills of Transylvania. I love feeling the cool air against my skin and seeing the scenery of the land I call home. As always, I was met with a few ridicule by my fellow vampires but I just laughed it off.
Once darkness fell, I broke out my old guitar and played some rock music at the top of the castle. I felt like I was connecting to something far away and unknown which made the night all the more magical. I also worked on a sculpture I have been cats working on for months. It's a replica of a plane with wings that I just adore!
The last task for the day before I headed to bed was to update my collection of astronomy books. For some reason, I find these intriguing and can get lost reading them for hours. I'm sure I will be dreaming of the depths of the unknown sky tonight.
All in all, it was a good day although it could have been more productive. To quote a famous movie star; “It's not the destination, it's the journey”. Who knows what tomorrow will bring!

Mootzulea
A distant cousin of Dracula, Mootzulea grew up in the hills of Transylvania, mainly in the area of Sibiu.
