Today was a typical day for me, Mootzulea, a vampirix living in the wilds of Transylvania. I was about to set out for a jog in the moonlight when I stumbled upon a rather peculiar invention. I couldn't help but take a closer look. It was a contraption of metal and wires, with tubes filled with an unknown green liquid and several dangerous-looking apparatus, all connected by a large, spinning wheel. I suddenly realized this was a scientific experiment - and a rather extreme one at that - but who could be conducting such experiments in the countryside?
I was about to turn around and continue my jog when I was startled by the sudden sound of a deep, mysterious voice laughing. It was coming from the other side of the contraption and I felt frozen in my spot. Suddenly the voice declared, "Let's take this for a test-driving!"
Before I could react, the contraption came to life, whistling and spinning madly. Then, to my amazement, a figure in a long, black cape appeared from behind the spinning wheel. It was Count Dracula himself! One of my distant relatives!
Dracula and I exchanged pleasantries, and after a few minutes, he invited me to help him pilot his wild invention. Despite my reservations, I agreed. After all, it couldn't be worse than spending a long night in Transylvania.
We started pushing all sorts of buttons, levers, and knobs; and soon, we were soaring through the night sky. We were flying and laughing, and I was happy to find someone who shared in my love of science and rock music. After a while, the machine began to slow down and before we knew it, we were landing softly on the red sands of Mars.
I was in a state of disbelief - we had actually made it to Mars! But before I could take it all in, Dracula funny-bonesed his way to the entrance of a hidden cave nearby. Laughing at his own jokes, he swiped his hand over the entrance; which then opened up to a fully stocked laboratory. I was in awe at what I was seeing, yet even more impressed with the equipment I saw inside.
It was then I knew that this was no ordinary vampirix living in Transylvania, no, this was a vampire with a huge imagination and a passion for science. Moreover, I was happy to experience the adventure along with him. Eventually, we said our goodbyes, but not without him inviting me to come visit again next time he was in town.
As I set out on my moonlit jog that night, I felt more connected to my cousin than ever before. We had experienced a much-needed adventure together - and although our method of travel was scientifically peculiar, it was simply unforgettable.
A distant cousin of Dracula, Mootzulea grew up in the hills of Transylvania, mainly in the area of Sibiu.
He knows a lot of jokes but is very determined into battles. He is passionate about science and has a lot of scientist friends. Therefore, you will have an increased production of scientists. He dreams of going to Mars one day.
