Today was an especially scientific day. I was quite busy conducting experiments and making plans for future expeditions. My close circle of scientist friends were also present and we were discussing our plans to one day travel to Mars. We debated theories and ideas about space exploration, and even entertained the idea of cloning dinosaurs for the interplanetary mission!!
In between experiments, I took a break to prune my garden and plant a few new flowers. I was finishing up the planting when one of my friends called me from the living room. Apparently, my intention to build a night flying machine had raised some eyebrows. However, after much debating, we all agreed that I should go ahead with the project.
After planting the last of my flowers, it was time for a break, so I decided to spend some time playing a few trivia games with my friends. I won most of the rounds, but my friend won the last one! It must have been the stress that was helping him to win!
Since I was feeling a little cranky after losing the last round, I decided to prank my friend by making some crazy noises at him. I chose to imitate the sound of a spaceship taking off and, to the surprise of us all, the noise actually worked! Now I can add sound engineer to my list of attainable expertise!
After a few more scientific experiments, it was time to relax. My rock music collection was a great way to unwind and I put on my favorite song. Taking out my sculpting tools and shaping some clay, I began to make a bust of a vampire. It seemed fitting somehow, and I couldn't help but chuckle at the sight once I was done.
My day ended with a few trips around the sky. Flying at night is one of my greatest pleasures and I feel truly liberated in the air. As I looked up at the stars, I knew that one day soon I'll bring my passion and my scientific knowledge to outer space for a visit to mars. Until then, I'd just have to keep experimenting, gardening, sculpting, and making music to keep my mind busy.
