Ah, another glorious day! Not as glorious as yesterday, when I was able to fly among the stars with one of my scientist friends, but life in Transylvania is still a delightful, albeit strange place.
I awoke this morning with a feeling of giddiness, the same feeling I get every morning as I get ready to go out and feed on the strains of stress that hang heavy in the air like a thick fog.
And so, I began my journey, hopping from one rooftop to another in search of my breakfast. I passed by a small village square, where the villagers had gathered to gossip and joke about life’s small mysteries. Ha! I thought to myself. Little do they know that I had a few mysteries of my own up my sleeve.
My hunger grew larger so I decided to take a break. I decided to check out a nearby rock concert that had just opened up. The noise and darkness was soothing to me, and it was just the thing I needed to provide relief from my morning feeding.
Afterwards, I took a stroll through the town, stopping here and there to admire a sculpture, a garden, an airplane, a computer, or just to chat with the locals. I even stopped to get my fill of political discussion, as the upcoming Transylvanian elections are always a hot topic of debate around here.
Then, the night began to fall and I decided to take to the skies again. I flew high and made sure to keep my eyes open for any meteors or shooting stars. Before long, I spotted a constellation in the shape of a cat and I knew that I was heading in the right direction.
Eventually, after I had had my fill of night-time flying, I chose to make my way back home, ready to rest for another day before my next adventure emerged. Until then, I can always pass the time with some puns, some chemistry experiments, some trivia games, or perhaps even a bit of music-making or video gaming.
Life as a vampirix isn't always easy, but it can certainly be adventurous and huge amounts of fun. Until the next time, when I will seek to find new ways to satisfy my hunger and feed off the stress in the air, this is Mootzulea signing off.
