Today was a day that I will never forget as long as I live: I had mostly good news and a plan for the future. This morning, I was visited by a group of scientists who are attempting to bring some of the smaller vampirix to the Red Planet.
Naturally, I was excited about the news and eagerly delved into the scientists’ further details with vampire-like curiosity. Of course, I am the perfect vampire for such a mission; I thrive off of stress rather than blood, and I have an in-depth knowledge of rock music, computers, science, and puns.
The scientists were thrilled and decided to bring me with them to Mars. We quickly drew up a plan: I would be put into a deep sleep in a capsule (which I could easily fit in due to my small size), and they would take care of the rest.
However, my excitement quickly gave way to mischievous thoughts. I quickly saw an opportunity for a prank--and saw no better way to celebrate the plan than to convince my scientists to make a giant model of me, complete with a cape and frighteningly teeth, in the middle of the launch site. Of course, they weren’t too happy once it was done, but they were all in good humor and found my pranking nature amusing.
We spent the rest of the afternoon discussing the details of our mission. We went over each of our skills and laughed as we listed every item I would need to take into space. By the end of the day, I had my own packing list and a rough timeline for the launch.
As I watched the sun set behind the hills of Transylvania, I knew that tomorrow my adventure to Mars would begin! All I had to do was plan a final prank before boarding my capsule, and I was sure to make my scientists laugh before the launch. Although I had never left the ground before, I was filled with a strange excitement about the journey to space and the adventures yet to come.
