Today was another day in the life of a vampirix – me, Mootzulea!
It all started innocently enough… I got out of bed, stretched and buckled up the straps that went around my wings. After eating my breakfast of moon muffins and a morning cup of liquid stress (which you’re not supposed to drink on an empty stomach), off I flew.
My daily activity was to check the borders of Transylvania, keeping an eye out for any upstart humans or werewolves that might try to invade. Of course, with my superior vampire sight, it wasn’t much trouble. But then again, I never had any real trouble in that department.
On one particular afternoon, I flew over the abandoned castle and saw a small group of scientists gathered on the lawn. According to my calculations, I had stumbled upon my own friends – a bunch of science technicians that I usually had brunch with in the nearby town. I found it very intriguing.
As I slowly descended, I could make out a gigantic black balloon shaped like a ping-pong ball. It bobbed and maneuvered as if it was made of hot air and I thought to myself: “What on Earth is this?”.
It was then that I noticed my friends, laughing and obviously having a good time. I had to find out what they were up to.
I flew down and landed right in the middle of the gathering. “Hello everyone!” I said.
“Mootzulea!” my friends exclaimed in unison.
“What’s going on here?” I asked.
My friends then explained to me that they had been experimenting with building a large-scale catapult out of a makeshift collection of objects. They had also apparently found a way to make it go faster then anyone had ever achieved before.
As it largely applied to my dream of one day flying to Mars, I was instantly excited! I decided to take part in the experiment and help them with the technical aspects and calculations.
It was one of the craziest, most absurd and exhilarating days of my life! Unfortunately, I cannot go into too much detail, as the results of the experiment are confidential.
At the end of the day, we all gathered around the catapult and made a toast with moon muffins to our success.
What a day, indeed!

A distant cousin of Dracula, Mootzulea grew up in the hills of Transylvania, mainly in the area of Sibiu.
He knows a lot of jokes but is very determined into battles. He is passionate about science and has a lot of scientist friends. Therefore, you will have an increased production of scientists. He dreams of going to Mars one day.
