This morning I embarked on a most daring and daringly heroic task: creating a portal to the red planet Mars. I had learned all about portals in a physics class from one of my scientist friends, so I decided this was the challenge I needed to take on.
The first step was finding a suitable site, and eventually I landed in a forest clearing near the edge of a small hill. This seemed perfect for my project, and I carefully and meticulously began constructing a large circle of energy, with stones and twigs and crystals and visit in whatever magical items I had found strewn about in the forest.
With the circle constructed, I began chanting the strange words that were drilled into my brain from my science classes.
My chanting seemed to infuse the forest with a blue hue and soon I was surrounded by a hazy veil that wafted in the wind. I was pleased with how my experiment was progressing.
After several hours of chanting and magicking, I found that the portal to the red planet was open. I took a deep breath and stepped through the threshold.
On the other side I found an alien landscape- rocky terrain lined with strange creatures and plants, all in various shades of electric blues and oranges. I knew the rumors were true- I was most definite on Mars.
Cautiously, I explored the planet, basking in the beautiful colors and soaking in the new knowledge. After several hours of adventuring, I had finally learned the secrets of this distant planet.
Unfortunately, as I let my guard down I was scooped up by a sneaky UFO and placed in a metal prison for the remainder of the night. After several hours of contemplation on why spacing out on a foreign planet could land one in a spaceship prison, I eventually made my way back to Earth.
Through my space-time travels, I had learned the secrets of Mars, solidified my scientist friend's theories, and had an adventure of a lifetime. All of this to say that today was great! Well, aside from the unfortunate UFO incident that is.
Still, space travel and prison aside, I am happy to report that I am still alive and no better way to end a day than that! Also, my portal-making skills are certainly not to be trifled with- not that I'm suggesting I want to be trifling with portals any time soon again...
A distant cousin of Dracula, Mootzulea grew up in the hills of Transylvania, mainly in the area of Sibiu.
He knows a lot of jokes but is very determined into battles. He is passionate about science and has a lot of scientist friends. Therefore, you will have an increased production of scientists. He dreams of going to Mars one day.
