Tonight was an eventful night, as it usually is. I started the evening off by feeding my family, my vampiric clan, a large group of stress-dependent vampires. We gather in large circles and share the energy of those around us, taking in the highs and lows of nearby people. It’s a wonderful experience and keeps us all connected.
Afterward, I took a little time to enjoy my favorite Pina Colada and then gathered some courage and ventured out into the night. I flew around the city, marveling at the sights. It’s so peaceful to fly with the wind in my hair and stars in my eyes and - how could I forget - a cape billowing behind me, my hands on a broomstick. I adore night flying.
Then I headed to the mall. I love spending my evening there, window shopping and trying out the occasional outfit. Tonight, I ended up buying a dress fit for a Princess Warrior. I think it’s going to be my new favorite.
After shopping it was time to do some politics. I’ve consulted vampire-friendly politicians on the intricacies of the political process. It’s fascinating and extremely important. Who knows where I’ll go from here?
I finally headed home and tucked myself in for the evening. I grabbed my cat, Dracula, for a cuddle and soon I was off to sleep.
Tomorrow is going to be another adventure. I’m planning to meet my girlfriends for a night of jokes, gossip and presents. And if I have the energy, I’ll make time for a quick trip to a far off, exotic land. After all, life is too short not to explore the world in all its fascinating diversity.
It’s sure to be a night to remember.
