I'm done with the day, and it's been a weird one. This morning started off normally: I was getting ready to head out when I heard strange noises coming from my living room. I thought it might be a mouse, but when I went to investigate, I was surprised to find my four cats dancing together in a circle. I watched in amazement for a few moments, and then rewarded the cat collective with a few treats.
Next, I hit the streets for a night of hunting. I've always been drawn to stress, so I enjoy scoping out the uncomfortable places in my town and finding someone to feed off. Tonight, I found a group of young professionals gathered in an alleyway by a fire. Naturally, I adopted a dignified look and sauntered over. We got to talking, and I soon realized that they weren't just pretending to look successful – they were actually quite successful entrepreneurs. I couldn't believe it, but I proceeded to charm them with what I do best.
After that, I returned home and decided to have a little fun. I mean, why not? I got ready and hopped in my car. I raced to the mall, and while I shopped, I found a dark corner to eavesdrop on people's conversations and pick up some gossip. Next, I moved on to the night club and made a few friends. I heard some of the newest songs and even got free drinks from the bartender. Everyone seemed to err on the side of good-humoredness, and before I knew it, it was time to head home.
I'm feeling good. Satisfied. But there's something else, too: the feeling of being a princess warrior from a long-gone era. I'm wearing a tiara and a flowy dress, sitting on a throne surrounded by my loyal subjects, with a rose stem in my hand. Yes, that's just what I need for tonight. So, with all this in mind, I journey to my kingdom of dreams and hope you all join me soon.
