Today has been an interesting day. I started the morning off with my usual routine; I roamed the city streets from dusk to dawn, looking for humans whose stress I could feed on. I don't usually like to take too much from them; I just take enough so that it can help me maintain my vampiric state.
Once I was done feeding and night began to fall, I went off to get a Pina Colada from my favorite local spot. The bartender recognized me and gave me a knowing nod before handing me my drink. I savored the taste of it and simply closed my eyes as I listened to whatever weird music was playing in the background.
After that, I went back home and decided to take a walk around my neighborhood. It's been so long since I've flown at night that I decided to do that instead. I flew around and around in circles, feeling liberated and free. I must've been up in the air for at least two hours, just looping around, enjoying the view of the glowing city.
The night was so young and I still had so much energy that I decided to go and find some new adventure. I transformed my leather jacket into a halter top and donned one of my ubiquitous pair of black ankle boots. I had no destination in mind but I knew I was going to have a blast.
My first stop was at the mall. It was a totally surreal experience. I've been here countless times before, but this time all the stores had unfamiliar names and the walls were made of colorful mirrors. The people there were so friendly; they all smiled when they saw me. I ended up buying a few new dresses and some intense eyeshadow.
When my shopping trip was done, I decided to grab a snack. One of the food courts had something called Dracula Soup that I just had to try. It was fantastic and I'm definitely going back for seconds soon.
By this time, it was getting pretty late and I still wasn't ready to end my night. So, I flew back home, put on some music and called a few of my girlfriends to come over and party. We caught up on gossip and shared stories and just had a blast.
After all this fun, I felt as if I won the lottery. What an amazing day I had! Now all that's left for me to do is sleep and get ready for tomorrow - who knows what type of adventure it will bring?
