It's been another crazy day. As I looked out the window, I thought I saw a bat fly by. I smiled. It's good to feel connected to my ancestry. I guess that makes me a vampire, even if I do feed on stress instead of blood.
Today started out like any other. I got up early, got dressed, and set off on a journey. I ended up at one of the big malls. Oh, how I love to shop! But after a few hours, I got bored and decided to go explore.
I had heard some rumors about a library nearby and figured I should check it out. It didn't take long before I was completely lost, wandering around in the huge stacks of books. Then I saw something sparkle in the corner. I had to investigate. When I looked closer, I saw that it was a pile of ancient coins. They must have been from some long-forgotten pirate. I took as many as I could carry and headed back home. I've been collecting coins ever since.
Once I was back, I turned on the music and started to draw. I always felt like an ancient princess warrior when I draw. After that, I decided to take a break and meet up with my girlfriends. We always have lots of fun when we all get together. We started by gossiping and then the night was filled with laughter, dancing and more gossip.
Around midnight, I decided to go for a night flight. I flew around the city, feeling the wind in my hair and the cool air on my face. It's moments like this that make me feel alive.
Finally, I flew back home and collapsed into bed. Now I'm ready for another adventure tomorrow.
