Today was one strange day. It started like usual with me flying around in the night sky, admiring the stars and the wide expanse of the open sky. As I flew, a small grey figure appeared in my vision. I had never seen one like it before. Was it a strange species of bird?
A closer look revealed that it was a tiny, musclebound figure made of some kind of metal. It had funny little antennae along its back, like an extra set of eyes. Suddenly, the creature smiled at me and I was paralyzed. Its teeth were like two tiny spikes and its expression was that of one who had seen everything there is in this world.
In a surprisingly deep voice, the creature said to me: "I am here to grant you a wish... What will you wish for?". It startled me and I could barely answer something. All I could say was: "Money!".
The tiny figure shimmered and disappeared without a trace. Suddenly, I saw money raining down from the sky in front of me. I went into frenzy and collected as much of it as I could. When I was done, I noticed that I had lots of money in my pockets and I was excited to see what I could do with it.
I decided to head out to the mall. As I walked by the small shops, I heard some laughter coming from an arcade machine. I walked over to it and noticed it was a mini-golf game. I had never played it before, but I thought it looked fun. I got change and spent my money on the golf game. After some practice, I found that I was actually good at it, so I put some money into the high-score table and eventually won the game.
When I was done, I went home satisfied with my day. I was able to make lots of money, got to try a new game, and fulfilled my wish. Who would have thought that a tiny metal creature would ever appear to me and grant me a wish? I realize now that the world is full of little surprises and I look forward to experiencing them.
