Today was a great day. I woke up at around lunchtime, feeling a bit peckish. After all, I hadn’t had any blood for a few days, so I went out to the nearest cafe for a snack. I ordered myself a giant pretzel and a Pina Colada. I finished them off with a relish and immediately felt a surge of energy go through me. Then, I remembered a funny joke that I heard the day before and laughed out loud.
Suddenly, I was in the mood to have some fun. So, I grabbed my hood and headed out. I had sent out a few text messages to some friends, inviting them over to my place. By the time I arrived, the house was already filled with people. We danced and laughed until the morning hours.
As the party came to an end and everyone else went home, I decided to take a walk in the nearby park. I donned my favourite black cloak, put my hood over my head, and ventured out onto the streets. The wind was blowing gently and the night was filled with an eerie silence.
Suddenly, I stopped in my tracks as I spotted an old castle in the distance. It was 10 o’clock already, but I was curious to know more about the castle. I grew more intrigued as I approached it, drawn by an electric force that felt familiar to me. I decided to enter it and had a brief visit. The walls inside were full of ancient murals and paintings that depicted battles and kings. Fascinated by the place, I felt my stomach growl once again. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a quick snack of some leftover tuna and a glass of wine.
Once I was done, I returned home and went straight to bed. I still had a strange feeling in my stomach, telling me that there was something about that castle that I liked, something that I had to find out. But for now, I was too sleepy to think about it anymore and drifted off in a deep sleep.
Even though I can’t explain it, I know that I’ll be heading back to the castle soon and exploring it once again. Until then, I’ll enjoy my everyday life as a vampire who likes Pina Coladas and loves to get caught in the rain.
