I woke up this morning feeling like a vampire princess ready to take on the world. I glanced quickly in the mirror, admiring my classic pale face and my dark eyes that seem to see right through anyone. I smiled, thinking about the upcoming day.
Stepping out of my bedroom, I noticed my cat staring back at me with an amused expression. I couldn't help but burst into laughter at the sight of her. This cat always knows exactly how to make me smile.
After grabbing a quick shower, I quickly changed into something suitable for the day ahead. A black leather skirt and a simple white blouse seemed fitting. On my way out the door, I stopped to get some Pina Coladas, my secret addiction.
I decided to go out for a little adventure. Not sure what kind of adventure I wanted, I decided to just wander around. After walking around for a bit, I stumbled across a garage sale nearby. Not thinking twice, I headed straight over.
As I started perusing the items being sold, I soon noticed something quite peculiar. There was a man selling a cold, metal coffin. Somehow I had an urge to buy it and so I did.
With the coffin in my possession, I started to think about all the possibilities of what I could do with it. I could make it into a bed, a shrine, a hiding place…the possibilities were endless.
As my thoughts began to drift off, I heard a noise in the distance. A thunderous sound coming from the sky. I knew I was in for another rainy treat.
Without second thought, I ran for cover, inside the coffin. It was surprisingly comfortable and, most importantly, dry. I stayed inside, playing with my cat and sipping on Pina Coladas.
Suddenly, a thought struck me. I realized that I was officially living my wildest dreams. I had a coffin, a cat and Pina Coladas, all of the signs of the perfect vampire life.
With that thought in my mind, I alone and content within my coffin, I finally drifted off in a peaceful sleep.
