Today was an odd little day. I had the oddest craving for Pina Coladas that kept getting stronger as the day wore on. It was as if I was getting caught in the rain - except instead of rain, it was Pina Coladas raining down from the sky. Every so often, I'd feel this ancient warrior inside of me, battle ready. I felt an urge to swing my sword and save someone, although there was no one to save.
I walked to the mall with a few of my girlfriends and decided to use my vampire powers to make a lot of money. We spotted a group of old men sitting in the corner playing cards and I suggested to my friends that we gamble with them. We all huddled around them looking for a new game. Of course, it didn't end well and the old men weren't pleased with our little game of chance. We said goodbye and made a quick escape with our newly won money.
I felt like a Dracula of sorts today. Everywhere I went, people seemed to be staring in awe and fear, as if they could sense my vampire vibe. It made me feel powerful and formidable and I couldn't help but laugh at the looks on their faces.
The night came and so I decided to embrace my love of flying, soaring through the night sky. I found myself constantly drawn to the moon and the stars. I liked to imagine the princess warrior of bygone days, charging into battle on horseback, trusty sword at the ready.
Back at home, I realized how much I missed my cat. I decided to make a few jokes to lighten the mood. I meant them to be funny, however, all that came out of my mouth were puns about vampires and Pina Coladas. Everyone started laughing (or was it screaming in terror - it was hard to tell) and I knew the night had been a success.
I went to sleep with still a hint of the Pina Colada rain still in the air, dreaming of a future full of exotic food, exotic getaways, and travels around the world.
