Today was a doozy. It started out with me scoring a sweet deal on a new outfit through my online shopping skills. On the way to pick it up from the mall, I stopped at the newest night club and hung out with my girls. We joked and gossiped and laughed until the sun began to rise. Not wanting to bring attention to our kind, we flew off while no one was watching.
After some food, I decided to go to the bank and check my account balance. I had made some sweet investments recently, and I was pleased to see that I was doing quite well. But, it was hard to focus on the numbers when all I could think about was my newfound love of politics. Seeing what was happenning in the world right now just stoked my fire. It made me want to do what I could to help make things better.
Naturally, this meant I needed to do something to back up my convictions. Seeing as I had a little bit of extra cash, I decided to make a donation to a charity instead of buying more clothes. I had heard about this one charity that did great work in restoring old castles, and that seemed right up my alley.
Finally, when I returned home, I decided to relax and watch some of my favorite old vampire movies, like Dracula, Interview with the Vampire, and Fright Night. It meant nothing to me that those old characters never experienced the kind of luxuries I could afford myself. It was more about the nostalgia.
I always loved the weird and the absurd, and my life was no exception. After all, I was a vampire living in the real world with none of the typical vampiric nonsense. No need to worry about stakes and garlic. My days are filled with shopping, night clubs, charity donations and the occasional movie marathon. Not a bad life if I do say so myself.
